چکیده
BackgroundReconstruction of the coracoclavicular (CC) ligament using a single TightRope (ST) system has some complications. We attempted to use double (DT) reduce complications and obtain ideal therapeutic effect.PurposeThis investigation aimed compare ST DT systems in terms efficacy safety treating acromioclavicular (AC) joint dislocation.MethodsSixty-six cases acute AC dislocation between January 2013 2018 were retrospectively reviewed. All patients divided into 2 groups based on treatment with or system. Patients evaluated radiologically clinically Disability Arm, Shoulder, Hand, Constant, visual analog scale scores as clinical outcome measures at 1 day, 3 weeks, 6 months, year, years after surgery. The CC distance displacement ratio assessed radiologically.ResultsThe mean follow-up period was 49 months. Satisfactory outcomes obtained fixation both groups. No intergroup difference found regarding (P = .80), Hand .42), Constant score .28) years. However, there significant weeks < .0001), months year .0001) postoperatively There group, including case secondary coracoid fracture, arthrosis combined ossification ligaments, clavicular erosion. occurred group.ConclusionsBoth surgical methods are effective dislocation, but is more reliable for reduction maintenance. Double-button Fixation System for Management of Acute Acromioclavicular Joint Dislocation
Background: Surgical treatments for acromioclavicular (AC) joint dislocation present with some complications. The present study was designed to evaluate the double-button fixation system in the management of acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation. Methods: This cross sectional study, done between February 2011 to June 2014, consisted of 28 patients who underwent surgical management by the ...
متن کاملOperative Treatment of Acute Acromioclavicular Dislocation
For treatment of acute acromioclavicular dislocation we chose operative treatment in which we fixed clavicule to coracoid with a screw. With regard to the clinical results, out of 6 patients who had gone under operation, only one had calcification at coracoclavicular ligament without limitation of motion. There were no serious postoperative complication.
متن کاملComparison of Acute Acromioclavicular Joint Dislocation Treatment by Screw Fixation with and without Ligament Reconstruction
Background & Aims: Acute acromioclavicular (AC) joint dislocation is common in shoulder injuries. Considering the biomechanics of this joint, the use of a treatment method, which can restore joint physiology and biomechanics to the extent possible, is important. This study aimed to compare the treatment of acute AC joint dislocation by screw fixation with and without ligament reconstruction. Me...
متن کاملEvaluation of arthroscopic stabilization of acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation using the TightRope system.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the results of the arthroscopic treatment of acute acromioclavicular dislocation using the TightRope system (Arthrex, Naples, Florida). Between January 2006 and May 2007, ten shoulders in 10 patients with acute acromioclavicular joint dislocation (Rockwood types IV and V) underwent arthroscopic acromioclavicular joint stabilization using the TightRope. ...
